From the moment you touch down in Guwahati, the adventure kicks off with a road trip to Kaziranga, where you’ll trade city sounds for the roar of tigers and trumpeting of elephants. Then, we whisk you away to Shillong, the “Scotland of the East” (but with better food and no bagpipes). Marvel at the Laitlum Grand Canyon’s jaw-dropping views, chase waterfalls at Phe-Phe Falls, and chill by the crystal-clear waters of the Umngot River in Shnongpdeng (you’ll swear it’s photoshopped, but it’s all real).
Feeling competitive? Let’s see if you can tackle the 6,600 steps up and down to the Double Decker Root Bridge without breaking a sweat (spoiler alert: you probably will). Recover by visiting Asia’s cleanest village, Mawlynnong, where you’ll wonder if they missed a spot (they didn’t).
