Gandhi Jayanti Long Weekend 2026
Overview
There are destinations you visit. And then there are destinations that change you.
Bali is the second kind.
This 8 Days 7 Nights Bali & Gili Islands Jain Group Tour takes you through the very best of it all — thrilling beach activities and clifftop temples of South Bali, the dramatic sea cliffs and snorkelling coves of Nusa Penida, the magical Gili Islands, and the lush cultural heart of Ubud. One seamless, beautifully paced journey through paradise — with Jain-friendly & vegetarian meals, private transfers, and zero logistical stress at every step.
And if you’re thinking of coming solo — this is your sign. You’ll walk in as a solo traveller and leave as part of a family. A group of 15 to 20 like-minded people, same-gender room sharing, and a vibe that makes sure nobody ever feels alone for a single second.
Couples, families, solo travellers — it doesn’t matter how you arrive. What matters is that you do.

Itinerary
Arrive at Ngurah Rai International Airport where our representative will meet you with a name board. Transfer privately to your hotel in Kuta/Seminyak. After check-in and freshening up, we'll drop you to the legendary Finns Beach Club — Bali's most glamorous beach club with pools, live DJs, and a spectacular sunset atmosphere. Return to hotel is on your own.
And if you're travelling solo — this is your night. There is no better icebreaker than a Bali sunset with the entire group around you. By the time the sun goes down, strangers become friends. By the end of the night, friends become family. This is the night you will keep coming back to in your memories long after the trip is over.
- 💡 Entry, table cover charges, food & beverages at Finns Beach Club are on personal account.
- Overnight: Kuta/Seminyak
- Meals: Welcome Dinner
After breakfast at the hotel, we head straight to the beach for an exhilarating water sports session — and we've included all three! Jet Ski, Banana Boat, and Adventure Parasailing. Feel the rush, the speed, and the freedom of the open ocean — this is Bali at its most thrilling.
After working up an appetite, the group stops for a lunch before heading into one of Bali's most breathtaking experiences.
In the evening, we visit the majestic Uluwatu Temple — one of Bali's six sacred sea temples, perched dramatically 70 metres above the roaring Indian Ocean. And just as the sun begins to set, the legendary Kecak Fire Dance begins — ancient storytelling, fire, and rhythm set against a blazing orange sky and crashing waves below. It is, without question, one of the most stunning things you will ever witness in your life.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Brace yourself — today is going to be one for the books.
We have an early pickup from the hotel at 6:00 AM. A packed breakfast will be available for you to carry along on the journey, subject to the hotel's early morning arrangements.
From Sanur Port, we board the boat and set sail for Nusa Penida — an island so breathtakingly beautiful it barely looks real. The West Coast of Nusa Penida is our playground for the day, covering three of Bali's most jaw-dropping natural wonders:
- Kelingking Beach — the iconic T-Rex cliff viewpoint that you've seen on every Bali travel reel, and nothing — absolutely nothing — prepares you for seeing it in person
- Broken Beach — a dramatic natural arch formation where the ocean swirls below you like something out of a movie
- Angel's Billabong — a magical natural infinity pool carved by nature itself, right at the edge of the ocean
And if time permits, we'll dive into Nusa Penida's crystal-clear waters for a swimming and snorkelling session — because why wouldn't you?!
A lunch is included on the tour, so you're taken care of even in the middle of the ocean.
We return by approximately 4:00 PM, heading back to the hotel to freshen up before dinner.
💡 Please note: The Nusa Penida retribution fee — IDR 25,000 per person (approximately ₹130) — is a mandatory island entry fee payable in cash on personal account by every traveller entering the island is excluded.
Meals: Packed Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
After breakfast, we check out from the Bali hotel and transfer privately to the ferry terminal. And then — the next chapter begins.
As the ferry pulls into Gili Trawangan, you'll understand immediately why people come here and never want to leave. No cars. No motorbikes. Just white sandy lanes, swaying palm trees, crystal-clear turquoise waters, and an energy that is pure, unfiltered paradise. This is the kind of place you've seen in photos and thought — can it really look like that?
It really does.
Check in to the hotel, drop your bags, and the rest of the day is entirely yours. Wander the sandy paths, find your perfect beachside spot, watch the waves, or simply do absolutely nothing — because sometimes doing nothing in the most beautiful place on earth is everything.
A packed lunch is included for the journey so you arrive on the island without a care in the world.
💡 Please note: Cidomo (horse cart) transfer from Gili port to the hotel is on your own arrangement and expense — but honestly, arriving by horse cart on a car-free island is an experience in itself!
💡 Important Note on Food at Gili Trawangan:
Gili Trawangan is a remote Indonesian island, and Jain-friendly food options here are extremely limited. Even vegetarian options can be hard to find. We strongly recommend that everyone carry sufficient dry food for the next two days — theplas, protein bars, dry snacks, and any other personal food items you rely on.
We know this sounds like a challenge — but here's the truth. Gili Trawangan is one of those rare, magical places in the world that we simply could not leave out of this itinerary. The experience of being on this island is unlike anything else, and we didn't want a single person in this group to miss it. So come prepared, carry your food, and let the island do the rest — it will be worth every bit of it. 🌴
Meals: Breakfast, Packed Lunch
Get ready — today you're going underwater, and it is going to be absolutely incredible.
After breakfast, make your way to the harbour front snorkelling pickup point on your own, 30 minutes before departure. The shared snorkelling boat takes the group across 3 spectacular snorkelling points in the crystal-clear waters of Gili Trawangan:
- Underwater Statue Garden — a hauntingly beautiful submerged sculpture garden that has transformed into a thriving artificial reef, unlike anything you've ever seen beneath the surface
- Blue Coral — vibrant, electric coral formations bursting with colour and tropical fish darting in every direction
- Turtle Point — and then there's this. Swimming alongside wild sea turtles in open water, close enough to watch them glide effortlessly through the ocean. A moment that will stop you in your tracks.
Snorkelling equipment and a guide are included. The rest of the afternoon and evening are completely free — explore Gili's charming beach bars, discover local warungs, find your perfect sunset spot, and just breathe it all in.
💡 A reminder on food today: As we mentioned, Jain-friendly and vegetarian food options on Gili are very limited. Please ensure you have sufficient dry food, theplas, protein bars, or personal snacks to cover your lunch and dinner today. Plan ahead and you won't miss a moment of this magical day!
💡 Please note: Cidomo transfers from the hotel to the snorkelling point and back are on your own arrangement and expense.
Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast, check out and make your way to the Gili ferry terminal for the return speedboat to Bali. As the island fades into the horizon behind you, carry every memory of those turquoise waters, those sea turtles, and those magical nights — because Gili Trawangan just gave you something truly special.
💡 Please note: Cidomo from the Gili hotel to the port is on your own arrangement and expense.
But Bali isn't done with you yet. Not even close.
On arrival to Bali, we head to Ubud — and if Bali is the Island of the Gods, then Ubud is its beating heart. Lush green rice terraces, ancient temples, the smell of incense in the air, and an energy that is deeply, beautifully spiritual. This is a completely different side of Bali — and it will take your breath away all over again.
In the evening, we explore the vibrant Ubud Art Market — overflowing with handmade Balinese crafts, batik fabrics, intricate wood carvings, silver jewellery, and colourful souvenirs. Then a gentle stroll through the charming lanes of Ubud Village — soaking in the artistic soul, the warm light, and the magic of one of the most unique places on this planet.
A vegetarian and Jain-friendly lunch and dinner are included today — you're back in comfort!
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
After breakfast, gear up — because today is the most thrilling day of the entire trip!
We kick off with a Tandem ATV Ride through the wild heart of Ubud. Muddy jungle tracks, narrow Balinese village paths, lush rice paddy fields — this is your real life Temple Run moment, and it is every bit as exhilarating as it sounds. Hold on tight!
💡 Please note: Extended ATV time, solo ATV rides, and personal video or photo packages are available at the venue at additional cost on personal account.
Then we head to the iconic Alas Harum for the legendary Bali Swing — one swing included — where you soar high above the lush jungle canopy and terraced rice fields with nothing but Ubud's breathtaking landscape stretching out beneath you. One of those moments where you'll scream, laugh, and immediately want to do it again.
💡 Please note: Additional swings and extended swing experiences at Alas Harum are on personal account.
And while you're at Alas Harum, there's so much more to explore within the premises — wander through the iconic rice terraces, take a fascinating coffee plantation tour, and discover the flavours of Bali right at the source. The Cretya Day Club is also located within the Alas Harum premises — pool access and entry are on personal account.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
After a final breakfast, take a moment. Look around at the people sitting at the table with you. The ones who were strangers just eight days ago. The ones who held your hand on that ATV, screamed with you on the Bali Swing, swam alongside turtles with you in Gili, and watched that Uluwatu sunset together in silence because no words were enough.
That's what this trip gave you. And nobody can ever take that away.
Enjoy some free time to relax or pick up those last-minute souvenirs — a little piece of Bali to carry home. Then our private vehicle transfers the group to Ngurah Rai International Airport for your departure flight home.
As you board that flight, let it all wash over you. The magic of Uluwatu's fire dance against a blazing sky. The feeling of soaring above the jungle on the Bali Swing. The moment a wild sea turtle glided right past you in crystal-clear water. The night walks, the laughs, the inside jokes, the memories made in the most beautiful corners of this island.
Bali didn't just show you a destination. It showed you a feeling.
And once Bali gets into your heart — it never really leaves. 🌺

FAQs
General
Yes — this group tour is specifically designed with Jain and vegetarian travellers in mind. Bali has a good selection of vegetarian and Indian restaurants, especially in Kuta, Seminyak, and Ubud. Please confirm your specific Jain requirements at the time of booking.
Yes! We provide complete end-to-end travel planning including international flights from India to Bali, Visa on Arrival guidance, and all land, island, and ferry operations across Bali and the Gili Islands. Whether you're travelling from Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Surat, Delhi, or any other city, we'll find the best connections for your group. Just reach out and we'll handle everything!
Yes, Indian passport holders require a Visa on Arrival (VoA) to enter Indonesia, payable at Ngurah Rai International Airport upon arrival (approximately USD 35). No prior application is needed. We'll brief your entire group on the process before travel so everyone arrives confident and prepared.
Indonesia uses the Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). We recommend carrying cash in USD and convert into IDR as many local markets, beach vendors, cidomo rides, and smaller establishments across Bali and the Gili Islands are cash-only. International cards are accepted at hotels and larger restaurants. Exchange currency at licensed money changers in Kuta or Seminyak. On the Gili Islands especially, always carry enough cash as ATM availability is limited.
The dry season from April to October is the best time for Bali and the Gili Islands — with sunny skies, calm seas, and ideal conditions for all water activities, snorkelling, and island tours. May, June, and September are the sweet spot — great weather, fewer crowds, and better value. July and August are peak season. November to March is the wet season — occasional tropical showers but lower prices and lush landscapes.
The Gili Islands snorkelling tour visits three spectacular points — the Underwater Statue Garden, Blue Coral reef, and the famous Turtle Point where wild sea turtles are commonly spotted swimming gracefully in the clear, shallow water. Turtle sightings are very frequent at Gili Meno but cannot be 100% guaranteed as these are wild animals in their natural habitat. Snorkelling equipment and a guide are included.
